Run the Moose Challenge

Waterville – Augusta

The Run the Moose Challenge connects two of central Maine’s most energetic running communities — Waterville and Augusta. Runners complete races in both cities to earn recognition as finishers of the Moose Challenge.

Located along the Kennebec River, these communities offer beautiful courses, enthusiastic local support, and a welcoming atmosphere for runners of all abilities. The Run the Moose Challenge celebrates Maine’s growing running culture while encouraging participants to explore the region’s historic downtowns and scenic riverfront areas.

Participants who complete both events will receive special recognition and commemorative awards celebrating their accomplishment.
