Maine Endurance Sports Alliance (MESA) is committed to transparent, ethical, and community-focused governance. As a mission-driven organization supporting endurance events and active communities across Maine, we believe strong governance is essential to long-term sustainability, public trust, and meaningful impact.

MESA operates with clear oversight, defined leadership responsibilities, and a commitment to accountability in all programs, partnerships, and financial stewardship.


Board of Directors

MESA is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors representing a diverse range of experience in education, business leadership, law, operations, sponsorship, and endurance athletics.

  • Rich Fabri
    Assistant Professor, Husson University
    Brings academic leadership, organizational insight, and a commitment to community engagement through education.

  • Brian Souers
    President, Treeline, Inc.
    Provides executive leadership experience, strategic planning expertise, and a strong background in business operations.

  • Mary LoMonaco
    Managing Partner, ScaleTeam6
    Contributes organizational development, scaling strategy, and operational excellence expertise.

  • Ezra Willey
    Attorney, Willey Law Office
    Offers legal insight, governance guidance, and risk management perspective to support responsible operations.

  • Justin Cartier
    Master Carpenter, Avid Runner
    Represents the athlete and participant perspective, with hands-on experience and a strong connection to the running community.

  • Richard Goodwin
    The Furniture Gallery, Sponsor
    Brings a sponsor and local business viewpoint, supporting strong community and business partnerships.

  • Laura McIntyre
    Race Operations
    Provides direct operational expertise in race logistics, safety, volunteer coordination, and event execution.
